Pregnancy and Birth Support

A doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during, and after childbirth, to help her achieve a healthy and positive experience.

 

We make an effort to provide doula services to our low income clients, and help them on the journey to mothering.  A referral to local doulas is available for those who can afford this service.

 

Having a doula present during labour and birth can improve birth outcomes, and provide essential support that is needed to get through the challenge of birth.
